Since the announcement of the Celebrity Cricket League 2025 schedule, there has been no information regarding the location of the finale week. Traditionally, the semi-finals and finals have taken place in Hyderabad or Vizag; however, last year saw a shift when Thiruvananthapuram unexpectedly became the host city. Recently, there were speculations that Coimbatore had been selected as the venue for the final, but this has yet to be officially verified.
Celebrity Cricket League 2025 Moves to Mysuru
Recently, Kiccha Sudeep, the captain of the Karnataka Bulldozers and a passionate advocate for the tournament, revealed that following the weekend in Surat on February 22 and 23, the top four teams will proceed to Mysuru for the semi-finals and final scheduled for March 1 and 2. “I am extremely pleased to announce that #CCL2025 is coming to #NammaMysuru. The two semi-finals and the final will take place in Mysuru on the 1st and 2nd of March. My gratitude goes to #CCL and #KSCA for their support and cooperation,” Sudeep shared on X.
The Karnataka Bulldozers currently lead the points table, sharing the top position with the defending champions, the Bengal Tigers, as both teams have secured victories in all three of their group-stage matches. With the Bulldozers and Tigers assured of their places in the semi-finals scheduled for March 1, the remaining two semi-finalists will be determined on February 22 and 23 in Surat. The Telugu Warriors, Chennai Rhinos, Punjab De Sher, and Bhojpuri Dabanggs are all in contention, each having achieved one win, yet they are differentiated by their net run-rate. Notably, the Warriors, Rhinos, and Dabanggs have one match left to play, while Punjab De Sher has two remaining fixtures.
The Bulldozers and Tigers will not face each other in the semi-final round, as the team leading the points table competes against the team in fourth place, while the second-ranked team plays against the third-ranked team. Currently, the top four teams, based on net run rate, are the Bulldozers, Tigers, Dabanggs, and Shers; however, the positions of the latter two teams may shift over the upcoming weekend.
