The Celebrity Cricket League 2025 concluded on March 2, with Punjab De Sher, the newcomers of the tournament, securing their first trophy by overcoming the Chennai Rhinos at the Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Stadium in Mysuru. This 11th season featured seven participating teams, as the Kerala Strikers were eliminated. A total of 14 matches were held during the group stage, with each team competing in four matches, leading to the advancement of the top four teams to the semifinals.
Many teams depended on one or two key batsmen to significantly contribute to their run totals. For the Bengal Tigers, this player was Jammy Banerjee; for the Karnataka Bulldozers, it was Darling Krishna; and for the Chennai Rhinos, it was Vikranth, among others. In the previous season, Jammy Banerjee narrowly surpassed Krishna to be named the best batsman of Season 10.
However, this season, despite the Bulldozers being eliminated in the semi-finals and Krishna not significantly increasing his overall score, he still led the batting charts due to his impressive performances during the group stage, which included an unbeaten century—the first of its kind in the league's history. Over the course of 10 innings in this edition of the CCL, Krishna accumulated a total of 404 runs, featuring 39 boundaries and 22 sixes.
Prior to the semi-finals, Jammy Banerjee trailed Krishna by 50 runs, having accumulated 301 runs. However, he could only increase his score by 3 runs during the match. In contrast, Vikranth, who was positioned sixth at that time, significantly improved his performance by scoring 113 runs in the semi-final against the Bulldozers and an additional 27 runs in the final, elevating his total to 329 runs over 12 innings, thus securing second place. Jammy remained in third place, while Asgar Khan (Bhojpuri Dabanggs), Akhil Akkineni (Telugu Warriors), Anuj Khurana (Punjab De Sher), Harry Sandhu (Punjab De Sher), Rajeev Hanu (Karnataka Bulldozers), Shabir Ahluwalia (Mumbai Heroes), and Prithvi (Chennai Rhinos) completed the top ten rankings.
