Boxer Saweety Boora Accuses Husband Deepak of Infidelity, Vows to Present Evidence

Indian boxer Saweety Boora has alleged that her husband, Deepak Hooda, is interested in men. The 32-year-old posted a video on Instagram in which she appeared emotional, expressing her readiness to pursue legal action against Deepak. She indicated that his behavior has left her with no choice but to reveal the truth publicly.

For context, Deepak Hooda and Saweety Boora were married in July 2022. Recently, a video circulated on social media showing Boora physically confronting her husband at a police station in Hisar, Haryana.

According to various reports, Boora has initiated divorce proceedings, accusing the kabaddi player of dowry harassment and physical assault.

In her Instagram video, Saweety Boora stated, "I did not wish to make any inappropriate comments, but I feel it is necessary to disclose that he has shown an interest in men. I was taken aback when I discovered videos of him with other men. I never planned to take this route, but I will present all the evidence in court. I did not want to discuss this publicly, but my husband refuses to accept responsibility," Boora explained.

"I possess all the videos and evidence I will present to the court. I will reveal everything he has put me through. Initially, I sought a straightforward divorce, but now I find myself with no alternative," she continued.

Saweety Boora also emphasized her ability to substantiate her claims in court, stating, "The matters I felt too ashamed to discuss, even with my parents, must now be addressed publicly due to his actions. I will prove everything in court, as I have not made any false allegations like he has."

Viral assault video

A previously circulated viral video depicted Saweety Boora aggressively approaching Deepak Hooda within a police station, leading to a distressing altercation when she seized him by the throat.

Family members intervened to separate the two amid a heated dispute that ensued in the police station. According to India Today, Boora notified the Hisar Superintendent of Police on March 11 that she no longer wished to remain with Hooda.

Conversely, Hooda asserted that he was called to the Hisar police station on March 15, where he was subjected to physical assault during the interrogation process.

Both Boora and Hooda are distinguished recipients of the prestigious Arjuna Award.
