South Australia faced off against Queensland in the Sheffield Shield final on Wednesday in Adelaide, with Nathan McSweeney's team aiming for their first title in nearly 30 years after a strong start on Day 1. Queensland struggled, getting bowled out for just 95 runs, while South Australia finished the first day with a solid 63-run lead.

During the intense match at Karen Rolton Oval, an Aussie fan caught everyone's attention on social media by blending the famous celebrations of Travis Head and former Indian captain Virat Kohli, leaving commentators in disbelief.

This moment occurred in the second innings when South Australia’s opener Conor McInerney and Jason Sangha were trying to stabilize the innings after losing two quick wickets in the first 10 overs. One enthusiastic fan stole the show, and the cameraman captured it, which was later shared on Cricket Australia's social media.

In the video, the fan first mimicked Head's signature "bat in helmet" celebration, then seamlessly transitioned into Kohli's "my bat does the talking" pose. Kohli famously celebrated this way back in 2018 after hitting his 25th Test century against Australia in Perth.

Cricket Australia shared the clip with the caption: “Well batted, sir!”

South Australia takes the lead

SA captain Nathan McSweeney won the toss and decided to trust his bowlers, taking advantage of the damp pitch that would soon dry out under the Adelaide sun. The bowlers justified his decision by bowling out Queensland for a mere 95 runs in 35.5 overs. Marnus Labuschagne went out for a duck, and Usman Khawaja, who had stirred up some controversy after missing the last match due to injury but was later seen with his family at the Australian GP, managed only two runs off 28 balls. Brendan Doggett stood out among the bowlers for SA, claiming six wickets for just 31 runs in 11.5 overs.

In reply, Callum Vidler posed a challenge for South Australia with his four wickets, but it wasn't enough to stop the team from reaching 158 for six at the end of the day, with a solid Jake Lehmann at the crease on 42.
