India's cricket team had a great performance with the bat in the final ODI against England, scoring 356 runs after being put in to bat first in Ahmedabad. England started off aggressively in their chase but lost Ben Duckett just as he was getting into his groove. Arshdeep Singh took the first wicket, sending Duckett back for 34 runs off 22 balls.

Arshdeep executed his strategy flawlessly against Duckett, who was clearly dealing with a groin issue. After giving up a few boundaries in the previous over, Arshdeep stuck to his plan of using slower balls, relying on his variations instead of just speed.

He noticed Duckett was being cautious with the slower deliveries and decided to test him again. With a cleverly disguised knuckleball, Arshdeep forced Duckett into a poor choice. Unable to resist, Duckett swung hard to try and clear the boundary, but his limited foot movement worked against him.

With little balance and no control, he mistimed his shot, and Indian captain Rohit Sharma, positioned perfectly at mid-off, made an easy catch. After catching the ball, Rohit pointed to his head, suggesting that Arshdeep's strategy had paid off just as he intended.

Shubman Gill was on fire again, smashing a fantastic 112 and leading India to a huge total of 356 in the final ODI. The young opener played a vital role, forming a solid 116-run partnership with Virat Kohli, who made a steady comeback with a well-earned 52.

India's strong performance was further enhanced by Shreyas Iyer, who aggressively scored 78 off 64 balls, keeping the pressure on even as wickets fell. England's bowlers had a tough time trying to rein in the runs.

The only highlight for England was Adil Rashid, who had an impressive outing with figures of 4/64, managing to break some important partnerships at key moments.
