The top two ranked players electrified the court during a remarkable championship match. An Se-Young claimed victory in the All England Open women's singles competition, yet it was the astonishing 79-shot rally in the second game that captured the audience's attention.

After suffering a defeat in the first game, An Se-Young was determined to recover and succeeded in winning the second game, leveling the match at one game apiece. Despite grappling with fatigue, she triumphed in the lengthy rally and mounted a thrilling comeback, ultimately securing the title.

World number 2 Wang Zhiyi initially asserted her dominance in the first game, securing a 21-13 victory. However, Se-Young seized control and reversed the tide of the match. The Olympic women's badminton champion claimed the second game with a score of 21-18, thereby extending the contest to a decisive third game. She maintained a similar scoreline in the final game, ultimately triumphing in a thrilling encounter with scores of 13-21, 21-18, 21-18.

The match spanned 95 minutes, with both competitors pushing their limits. They received a standing ovation at its conclusion, with An visibly struggling to walk due to exhaustion.

"Words cannot express the difficulty of today's match," remarked An Se Young after her hard-fought victory. She reflected on the challenges she faced and acknowledged that the match did not unfold as she had anticipated.

"I experienced a whirlwind of emotions during the second game," An stated. "The one thought that remained clear in my mind was the determination not to give up.

"This mindset fueled my perseverance, which I believe contributed to my success today. I cannot adequately convey how challenging this match was. It did not go according to my plan, which added to my fatigue. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the final result," she concluded.
