Aamir Jamal Critiques Brad Hogg for Mocking Mohammad Rizwan's English: "Join TikTok for Attention"

9 days ago | 5 Views

Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg is currently embroiled in a significant controversy following his mockery of Pakistan's ODI captain, Mohammad Rizwan. A video has surfaced on social media in which an individual ridicules Rizwan's manner of speaking, as well as his command of the English language. Throughout these antics, Hogg can be seen laughing.

In response, Pakistan fast bowler Aamir Jamal has delivered a sharp rebuke to Hogg, labeling his behavior as "shameful." He pointed out that English is Rizwan's third language and suggested that the former Australian cricketer should consider joining TikTok.

Aamir Jamal expressed his disapproval, stating, "I just watched a video circulating on Twitter and other social media platforms. It is a very shameful act from @Brad_Hogg, who claims to be an international cricketer, making fun of @iMRizwanPak regarding his English, which is his third language, not even his second." He further remarked, "I would recommend you become a #TikToker, as you seem to need followers and attention by mocking others; that platform may be more suitable for you than the cricket community."

What the whole video is all about?

In a video circulating on social media, Hogg is seen conducting an interview with an individual who appears to be a content creator impersonating Mohammad Rizwan.

Hogg initiates the conversation by inquiring about the impersonator's opinion on Virat Kohli. The impersonator responds, "Virat and I are similar. He drinks water; I drink water. He eats food; I eat food. We are essentially the same; there is no distinction."

The content creator also referenced Rizwan's well-known phrase, "Ya to win hai ya learn hai," while discussing Pakistan's approach.

Recently, Mohammad Rizwan was excluded from Pakistan's squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand. Nevertheless, he is poised to captain the team in the ODI series against the Kiwis, which is set to commence on March 29 in Napier.

Under Rizwan's captaincy, Pakistan faced an early exit from the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 during the group stage, suffering defeats against New Zealand and India, while their match against Bangladesh was called off due to rain in Rawalpindi.
