Kanguva, the long-awaited period fantasy film which stars Suriya in the lead role, is gearing up for a November 2024 release. The movie, directed by Siva, is set to have its audio launch event in Chennai, on October 26, 2024. Ahead of the grand event, the Kanguva team treated cinephiles by releasing the second single, Yolo song, on social media. Suriya teamed up with leading lady Disha Patani for the pepe number, composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Yolo song from Kanguva is out

The Kanguva second single, Yolo song, is a sizzling dance number featuring Suriya and Disha Patani. Devi Sri Prasad composed the song and turned playback singer as well, along with Lavita Bobo. The Tamil lyrics of the song are penned by Viveka. The stunning locations and visuals are the biggest highlight of the Yolo song, which is otherwise, a signature DSP song with the musician’s usual elements. The visually stunning song clearly struggles to make an impact with its tune and lyrics.

Suriya, who appears in the role of Francis Theodore aka Frankie, a shadow cop and professional bounty hunter, looks handsome as always in the Yolo song visuals. Disha Patani, who plays the role of Frankie’s love interest and bounty leader Angelina, looks supremely stylish in her first Kanguva appearances. The visually stunning track has impressed the fans of both Suriya and Disha Patani.

The song also introduces Yogi Babu as Colt, the gun lover, and Redin Kingsley as Accelerator, a bounty hunter. From the Yolo song, it is safe to assume that the present portions of Kanguva are set in the backdrop of the modern-day Goa’s Anglo-Indian community.

Suriya is appearing in a double role in Kanguva, which marks his first collaboration with director Siva. Bobby Deol, the senior Bollywood actor is making his Tamil cinema debut with the film, as the lead antagonist. Kanguva is getting released in eight languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish. The makers are planning to reveal the rest of the songs and a release trailer of the film, after the upcoming audio launch event.
