Actress Triptii Dimri, who was recently seen in Bad Newz with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, is gearing up for the release of her romantic comedy-drama—Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. She will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao for the first time. The trailer was launched recently and it was highly praised by the netizens. On September 23, the makers released the second song titled Mere Mehboob at an event. Triptii and Rajkummar's song is being loved by their fans. However, a section of people are not too happy with Triptii's dancing in it.

Triptii Dimrii faces backlash from netizens

The song Mere Mehboob features Rajkummar and Triptii flaunting their romantic chemistry. The peppy number is sung by Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon, and composed by duo Sachin-Jigar. The dance number is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Taking to his Instagram account, Rajkummar dropped the video, with a caption that read, "Pesh hai Vicky Vidya ki aur se, dilon pe cha jane wala ek behtareen geet #MereMehboob Song Out Now! #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo in cinemas on 11th October."

Soon after it was released, people were seen expressing disappointment over Triptii's bold steps. They were calling out the vulgar choreography. One user commented, “I want to remember Tripti as Laila. What have you made of her now?” Another comment read, "Please someone save Tripti". One of the comments read, "What have you made of this?" Others expressed shock and called it 'vulgar'. Some even called out Ganesh Acharya for bad choreography.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and it stars Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, and Tiku Talsania. Shehnaaz Gill will also be seen making an appearance in a dance number. The film is gearing up for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024.
