Lucky Baskhar, the Dulquer Salmaan starrer directed by Venky Atluri, is one of the most anticipated pan-Indian projects of 2024. The movie, which is primarily made in Telugu, is being released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi languages as well. The project is slated to hit the theatres across the globe on September 7, 2024. Meanwhile, the makers dropped the much-awaited Lucky Baskhar title song, on the special occasion of leading man Dulquer Salmaan’s 41st birthday.

Lucky Baskhar title song is out

The fun title track of Lucky Baskhar introduces the titular character, played by Dulquer Salmaan, who is a middle-class man from the 1990s. The song, composed by National Award-winning musician GV Prakash Kumar and penned by Ramajogayya Sastry, brings the perfect retro mood to the fun number, providing a closer look at the character Baskhar. The vocals by veteran singer Usha Uthup add the perfect vibe to the retro song, which has already won the hearts of Telugu film music enthusiasts.

Dulquer Salmaan, who is celebrating his birthday today, looks as charming as ever as the titular character Lucky Baskhar, in the promising title song lyrical video. The actor looks handsome in the retro-style checkered shirts, which he paired with formal trousers and a pair of oversized eyeglasses, in the title song video. Dulquer completed the cool look with a semi-long hairdo and a clean-shaven look. From the song, it is safe to assume that a popular Malayalam actor is set to play a never-seen-before role in the film.

Dulquer Salmaan is playing the role of Baskhar, an ‘eligible’ middle-class man who has a different side to his personality, in the Venky Atluri directorial. Meenakshi Chaudhary appears in the role of Sumati, Baskhar’s love interest-turned-wife, in the film. Hyper Aadi and Surya Sreenivas appear in the supporting roles in the film. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs and the original score. Nimish Ravi is the director of photography. Naveen Nooli handles the editing. Lucky Baskhar is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
