Teaser of Antony Varghese's Kondal

The teaser of Kondal was just released on social media by the film's creators weeks ahead of its theatrical release. The one-minute, 28-second clip gives the impression that Antony Varghese is getting ready to return as an action hero with this project.

According to the clip, the movie is set against the backdrop of a seaside village in Kerala and centres on Manuel, a young man who returned from the Gulf but is now an alcoholic and leads an insignificant life according to his family. Additionally, it seems that Kondal is centered on an altercation between Manuel and a group of powerful gang that eventually escalates into an even bigger battle. Action movie fans are in for a big treat with this one during the holiday season, judging on the teaser's glimpses of some intriguing sequences set in the sea.

Kondal to release on September 13

The Ajit Mampally-directed movie, which is bankrolled by the production house that brought RDX to theatres last year, is all set for its Onam release. Raj B Shetty, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Nandu, Manikanda Rajan, Prathibha, Gauthami Nair, Usha, Jaya Kurup, Sarath Sabha, and Rahul Rajagopal, are among the supporting cast of Kondal.

One hundred feet of a boat was constructed especially for the film while shooting in Kureepuzha of Kollam district. Added to the array of movie props is a 20-foot shark. Almost seventy days of shoot took place primarily at sea. A trailer giving a closer look into the plot as well as characters is anticipated to be released by the producers in the coming days.
