Kanguva second single: Suriya and Disha Patani team up for ‘Vamos Brincar Babe’ song

Kanguva, the highly anticipated film which stars Suriya in the lead role, is finally hitting the theatres on November 14, 2024. The movie marks the National Award-winning actor’s first onscreen collaboration with director Siva. After the first single ‘Fire song’ which won the internet, the makers are set to release the Kanguva second single, featuring Suriya and leading lady Disha Patani, on October 21, 2024.
Kanguva second single: Here’s what we know
If the recent updates are to be believed, the much-awaited Kanguva second single, which is slated to be released on Monday, October 21, 2024, has been titled ‘Vamos Brincar Babe’. The pepe romantic number, composed by National Award-winning musician Devi Sri Prasad, is reportedly shot at various locations in Goa. The song number features Suriya in his modern avatar in the film. The makers are also set to reveal leading lady Disha Patani’s first glimpse from the film, in the second single.
Kanguva: Cast and characters
As reported earlier, Suriya appears in a double role in the Siva directorial, as a tribal leader who lived in a medieval age, and a modern man. The tribal character is named Kanguva, while the second character is reportedly named Francis. Disha Patani is expected to play the love interest of Francis in the much-awaited film. It is yet to be revealed if the actress appears in the period portions of the film. Notably, the Kalki 2898 AD actress was completely missing from the Kanguva teaser, trailer, and first single, that was released recently.
Bobby Deol, the senior Bollywood actor is makinging his Tamil debut with Kanguva. The actor is playing the lead antagonist Udhiran, the leader of another tribe who turns against Suriya’s Kanguva, in the film. Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Jagapati Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Vatsan Chakravarthy, Anandaraj, Suresh Chandra Menon, Deepa Venkat, G Marimuthu, KS Ravikumar, Ravi Raghavendra, Karunas, Prem Kumar, and others appear in supporting roles.
