Kanguva, the period fantasy action film marks Suriya’s comeback to the big screens in a full-fledged role, after a long gap of 2 years. The project, which marks the popular star’s first onscreen collaboration with Siva, has been slated to hit the theatres on November 14, 2024. Amidst the grand promotional campaign, the makers recently dropped the Kanguva third single, titled ‘Thalaivane’ on social media handles. Suriya’s fierce tribal king avatar is the biggest highlight of the Thalaivane lyrical video.

For the uninitiated, the Thalaivane song, which was played in every promotional event of Kanguva, garnered the attention of listeners long back. After a very long wait, the makers treated the cinephiles by releasing the Thalaivane lyrical video on social media, today. As expected, the powerful song number, composed by Devi Sri Prasad and penned by Madhan Karky, features the pre-war scenes of a tribe, and the determination of their king Kanguvan, played by Suriya.
