Zee Music Company has just dropped the first single from the eagerly awaited war drama Ground Zero, and it’s already pulling at our heartstrings. The track, titled So Lene De, serves as a heartfelt tribute to soldiers and the quiet struggles they face both on and off the battlefield.

The official announcement hinted at the song's emotional resonance with the caption: “He won the fight, but not without scars. #SoLeneDe — Song out now.” Featuring stirring vocals from Jubin Nautiyal and Afsana Khan, poignant lyrics by Vayu, and a touching composition by Tanishk Bagchi and Aakash Rajan, So Lene De powerfully reflects the emotional toll of war, resilience, and sacrifice.

This song sets the stage for Ground Zero, which draws inspiration from the life of BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. Emraan Hashmi takes on the role of this brave officer, whose daring mission led to the capture of one of India’s most wanted terrorists, Ghazi Baba, a significant achievement for the BSF that earned him the Kirti Chakra in 2005.

This film marks Emraan Hashmi’s debut as an Indian Army officer, and there’s a lot of excitement to see how he portrays the strength and honor of a real-life war hero. The emotional intensity he brings to the visuals of So Lene De offers just a sneak peek of what audiences can look forward to in the full film.

Adding to the patriotic spirit, the official BSF India account also shared the trailer on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Based on the true events from the life story of Shri NND Dubey, DIG (Retd), Kirti Chakra, BSF. A faceless enemy, a fearless officer. The hunt begins."

Directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Ground Zero also features Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Zoya Hussain in key roles. The film is set to release in theaters on April 25, 2025, serving as a powerful tribute to bravery and sure to ignite national pride.
