Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt recently confirmed their reunion for Vasan Bala's film Jigra. The duo first collaborated for Udta Punjab, wherein they crooned a song Ikk Kudi. Diljit and Alia also worked as actors in the Abhishek Chaubey directorial. And 8 years down the line, they are back for Jigra's song Chal Kudiye. Before releasing the track on social media, Alia dropped a Chal Kudiye teaser to create audience anticipation.

The Chal Kudiye song teaser features Alia Bhatt standing alongside many girls. The song's lyrics, 'Chal Kudiye, Uth Kudiye', suggest that the Jigra song is about empowering women and uplifting their spirits. While sharing the teaser of Chal Kudiye on Instagram, Alia Bhatt captioned her post, "It’s yours soon ChalKudiye diljitdosanjh Jigra in cinemas 11th October (sic)." The track will be released on YouTube and other social media platforms very soon. A few days ago, Alia and Diljit confirmed their reunion with an intriguing photo on social media.

Both Diljit and Alia were seated on different chairs. The Punjabi singer's chair had a text written, "Sings about Kudi," while Alia's chair had the text, "The said 'Kudi'." Sharing this picture on the gram, Bhatt mentioned, "chairs say it all (sic)."

Earlier, when Alia collaborated with Diljit for the Udta Punjab song Ikk Kudi, the actress expressed her excitement on the official X handle. Meanwhile, Alia will be seen alongside Vedang Raina in Vasan Bala's action-thriller Jigra. The film primarily highlights the siblings' bond. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024.
