They've given us a sneak peek of their rendition of "Tu Tu Hai Wahi," originally from the film Yeh Vaada Raha, which starred Rishi Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon. Surprisingly, this new version is quite enjoyable. The Royals also shines visually, showcasing chemistry and romance, which the creators refer to as 'a royal mess.' We believe this is their standout moment, arriving at a pivotal time.

Tu Tu Hai Wahi is a complete disaster that totally deserves a mic drop moment

Even though the storyline of The Royals might suggest some royal chaos, especially with the Indian family's attitude, there's nothing chaotic about the song Tu Tu Hai Wahi or its video. In reality, the chemistry, romance, and overall vibe are all spot on. So, we prefer to think of it as The Royals' 'mic drop moment.' Ultimately, this is a remake that’s definitely worth the hype!

Rishi Kapoor has been greatly missed for another reason lately

Yeh Vaada Raha starred Rishi Kapoor in the main role, and his absence was deeply felt when the sequel to his 2018 movie Mulk began production. Sadly, Rishi Kapoor passed away from cancer in 2020, which means his character in the sequel will either be written out or recast. However, it's important to note that no one can truly fill the shoes of such a remarkable actor.

Royals, Kull, or Maharani? Which one stands out?

The Royals is going head-to-head with the newly revealed web series Kull. Both series, centered around royal families, are set to premiere in May, but Kull will be available for streaming before The Royals, even though it was announced later. Will this impact The Royals? We doubt it.

In this royal showdown, the standout is definitely Maharani, starring Huma Qureshi in the lead. Even though it doesn't have a confirmed release date, it's the only show focused on power (and a bit of glamour) that has consistently delivered four seasons. Fans are still eagerly awaiting season 4.

The trailer for The Royals drops tomorrow
