The first feature film production of RJ Pradeepa’s Sakkath Studio, Maryade Prashne is prepping for its date with audiences. The film, which Pradeepa wrote, and then got Nagaraj Somayaji to direct, will be in theatres on November 22. The team has kickstarted promotions with the first single, a song called Easy Take It Easy, that they’re calling as the anthem for the middle class.
The folk-inspired composition by Arjun Ramu, has actor Sharan Hruday filling in as singer, with Pramod Maravanhe’s meaningful lyrics resonating deeply with the everyday struggles and joys of middle-class life. Each line of the song spreads a positive message, offering hope, inspiration, and motivation to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
In addition to the uplifting lyrics, the film’s team released a music video that features glimpses of Sharan singing and provides a sneak peek into the film's characters and storyline. In the video, actor Rakesh Adiga is seen portraying a young politico, busy helping people in his neighborhood, while Suneel Rao’s character is food delivery agent, Poorna Chandra a cab driver and Teju Belawadi a sales girl at a retail store.
According to reports, Maryade Prashne is a realistic revenge drama, which also stars Rekha Kudligi, Nagendra Shah, Shine Shetty, Prabhu Mundkur, Shravan, Hariharan, among others. Pradeepa has been quoted as saying that the film explores the thin line between power and will-power, from the perspectives of the middle class and the elite. The story is based on real incidents and the film has been shot at locations across Chamarajpet, Indiranagar and Koramangala.
