The first track from Sekhar Kammula's Kuberaa, featuring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, has just been released. Titled Poyiraa Mama, Dhanush announced the single on his official X (formerly Twitter) account this Sunday.

This track is the first single from the soon-to-be-released film directed by Sekhar Kammula, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP). Dhanush provides his vocals for the Tamil and Telugu versions, named Poyivaa Nanba and Poyiraa Mama, respectively. The Telugu lyrics were penned by Bhaskarabhatla, while Viveka took care of the Tamil lyrics. The Hindi version, titled Jaake Aana Yaara, is performed by Nakash Aziz. In Kannada, it’s called Hogi Baa Geleya, and in Malayalam, it retains the name Poyivaa Nanba. The lyrical video features Dhanush showcasing his dance moves energetically.

One fan exclaimed, “Dhanush's voice and dance moves are just amazing... Wow!” Another added, “DSP has done it again... The lyrics are fantastic and the tune is beautiful... this song is on another level, wow!”

The movie is brought to life by producers Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao through Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Nagarjuna takes on a complex and crucial role in Kuberaa, enriching the film's intricate narrative. Rashmika portrays a character yearning for more than her middle-class existence, while Jim Sarbh steps in as a thriving businessman.

Dhanush's appearances have sparked curiosity, especially one where he appears as a beggar, clad in tattered clothes and looking disheveled. This socio-drama is being filmed in both Tamil and Telugu, but details about the plot remain scarce. Directed by the acclaimed Sekhar Kammula, a National Award-winning filmmaker, the film's music is crafted by Devi Sri Prasad. It is scheduled to release in theaters on June 20 this year.
