Devara, the highly anticipated Koratala Siva directorial, which stars Jr NTR in the lead role, is gearing up for a grand release in September 2024. The movie marks the Telugu superstar’s return to the big screens, after the massive success of RRR. Janhvi Kapoor, the popular Bollywood actress is set to make her Telugu cinema debut with the film. After the great success of the first two singles, the makers of Jr NTR’s film are set to reveal the Devara third single, very soon.

Devara third single: Anirudh Ravichander drops an update

Anirudh Ravichander, who has composed the songs and original score for Devara, recently took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and dropped a major update on the upcoming third single of the film. “#Daavudi next single from #Devara... @tarak9999 anna and #JanhviKapoor on fire... #KoratalaSiva sir (sic),” reads the celebrated musician’s social media post. Anirudh’s revelation has left the fans of Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, who have been eagerly waiting for the third single, highly excited.

From the music composer’s revelation, it is safe to assume that ‘Daavudi’ song, which is being released as the third single from Devara, is going to be an electrifying dance number for the season. Earlier, the ‘Chuttamalle’ song showcased the crackling chemistry of the lead pair, Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. The ‘Daavudi’ song, on the other hand, is expected to be yet another high-voltage number from the Telugu superstar, who is best known for his dancing skills.

Apart from the three songs that have been announced so far, Jr NTR, who plays the titular role in Devara, is also set to have a foot-tapping opening song in the film. The makers have reportedly shot another song sequence for the film, featuring lead antagonist Saif Ali Khan. Janhvi Kapoor, the leading lady is expected to have a minimal screentime, including the two songs and a few scenes, in the Devara Part 1, which is slated to be released on September 27, 2024. More updates on the Devara trailer and other promo videos are expected to be out soon.
