Demonte Colony 2: Nodigaley song offers a glimmer of hope as the cursed have little time left

The makers of upcoming Tamil film, Demonte Colony 2, have released its first song today (July 31). The soundtrack titled, Nodigaley, which is composed by Sam C S, shows the lead characters in distress because they are running out of time to escape the curse. Sam CS and Iykki Berry have sung this song.

The film's makers recently unveiled the trailer, which features Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the key parts. August 15 is when the movie is scheduled to open in theatres. A voiceover opens the two-and-a-half-minute video, stating that a cursed necklace will return to its haunted origins no matter where it is. There are hints of demonic activity visible, and the characters' collective fear of the curse is evident. The visual effects in the trailer are so intense that they will definitely give the audience goosebumps in theatres.

The director of the movie is Ajay Gnanamuthu. Arulnithi will continue to play the lead character, Srini, in the upcoming movie, which is a follow-up to the 2015 movie Demonte Colony, and Ajay will once again serve as director. Interestingly, the name of the movie franchise comes from a supposedly haunted neighbourhood in Chennai.
The first installment centres on a group of inebriated friends who enter a haunted bungalow and retrieve a cursed necklace that horribly disrupts their lives. It can be found on OTTplay Premium and SunNXT. The prequel and sequel elements of Demonte Colony 2, as revealed by the director R Ajay Gnanamuthu recently, allude to the franchise's potential expansion.
Antti Jaaskelainen, Tsering Dorjee, Arunpandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid, and Archana Ravichandran are among the supporting cast members of Demonte Colony 2. Bobby Balachandran, Vijayasubramanian, and R C Rajkumar have bankrolled this horror drama.
If released on the said date, Demonte Colony 2 will be running in theatres along with other highly anticipated films- Vikram’s Thangalaan and Keerthy Suresh-starrer Raghu Thatha.
