The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Bougainvillea, have dropped its first song today (September 26). The soundtrack titled, STHUTHI, is sung by Mary Ann Alexander and Sushin Shyam. The vibrant song features Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi dancing, as spotted in the music video.

The main actors, Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi are shown shaking their legs in the music video to a lively soundtrack and modern dance moves. Although Jyothirmayi sports a grey, shaven head, Kunchacko Boban maintains the same look as in the movie posters. 

With all the contemporary touches Sushin Shyam adds to his compositions, the song definitely suggests another hit from him. Additionally, he has a brief appearance in the STHUTHI song video. The song's lyrics were written by Vinayak Sasikumar, who has worked in Bheeshma Parvam, Aavesham, and Guppy. Overall, it suggests an excellent comeback for Jyothirmayi, who, in the opinion of netizens, has an impeccable style in this song.

Bougainvillea to release in October?

The most recent sources state that the much-awaited action thriller is scheduled to premiere on big screens in October. The renowned cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Amal Neerad is scheduled to make a comeback following the enormous success of his Mammootty's Bheeshma Parvam, which is currently available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. For an upcoming action thriller, the director is collaborating with Kunchacko Boban for the first time in his career. A spectacular star cast, including Jyothirmayi, Sharaf U Dheen, Srindaa, and Veena Nandakumar in key parts, also appears in the multi-starrer movie. In the next several days, a teaser or trailer should be released.

In the movie, which supposedly has Fahadh Faasil in a significantly extended cameo, Kunchacko Boban plays a negative role. Along with Lajo Jose, Amal Neerad co-wrote the script for the movie. The director of photography is Anend C Chandran, while the editor is Vivek Harshan. Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi have bankrolled Bougainvillaea under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions and Udhaya Pictures.
