Back in 2022, Shraddha Kapoor surprised us by appearing in the special song Thumkeshwari in the film Bhediya. In the music video, the actor starred alongside the lead actors, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Now, it's time for Bhediya, aka VD, to enter the world of Stree. Following his surprise cameo in Munjya's climax, Dhawan is all set to reprise his role as Bhediya in the upcoming Stree 2 song, Khoobsurat.

The makers released a teaser for the song on social media pages, showcasing Varun Dhawan and Kapoor in a romantic scene. We must await the release of the full song tomorrow to experience the captivating chemistry between the actors. While sharing the teaser video, it was captioned in Hindi as "Who is the new admirer of this Stree's beauty?"

Maddock Films' expanding horror-comedy universe

There are some intriguing ideas in the works for Maddock Films' horror comedy universe, and Stree 2 is getting ready to debut during Independence Day weekend. 

According to ETimes sources, Amar Kaushik is planning to direct another film set in the Stree universe in order to wrap up all of the loose ends. Vampires of Vijay Nagar, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, is Aditya Sarpotdar's next big project after Munjya's popularity.

The source also informed the entertainment portal that production will begin this year with the film's floors and a 2019 release in the works. After that, Aditya will begin filming Munjya 2, continuing the plot and introducing new characters from the first sequel. 

The insider went on to share that the director, writer, and producer are diligently at work on a new storyline that would unite Munjya and Varun Dhawan's Bhediya, as shown in Munjya's post-credit scene.

The horror-comedy universe links Aparshakti Khurrana, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Abhay Verma, Sharvari, Mona Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee.
