Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Pictures, is a film that chronicles the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, who reigned from 1681 to 1689.
