Shivarajkumar on ‘Bhairavana Kone Paata’: A Grueling Role Worth the Challenge
19 days ago | 5 Views
Shivarajkumar was scheduled to commence his first collaboration with Hemanth M Rao on the project titled Bhairavana Kone Paata by the end of 2024. However, unforeseen circumstances arose as the Century Star is currently recuperating from a nearly year-long battle with cancer. Following the announcement of Shivarajkumar’s cancer diagnosis, there was considerable speculation regarding the future of Bhairavana Kone Paata, with many wondering if the project would be postponed or undergo a title change, given the uncertainty surrounding the actor's health.
Upon Shivarajkumar's return from Miami, where he underwent surgery to remove and replace a cancerous bladder, these speculations resurfaced. Hemanth addressed these concerns, affirming that Bhairavana Kone Paata would indeed proceed, though it would be contingent upon the actor's improved health. Shivarajkumar has recently resumed filming for his untitled 131st project and is set to travel to Hyderabad for Ram Charan’s upcoming film.
Shivarajkumar to do a special role in Hemanth M Rao's next
In a discussion with Tv9 Kannada, Shivarajkumar confirmed that Bhairavana Kone Paata has been temporarily postponed due to the physically demanding nature of the role, which includes activities such as horse riding and sword fighting, tasks he is currently unable to perform. Nevertheless, the Hattrick Hero mentioned that Hemanth plans to direct another film in which he wishes for Shivarajkumar to play a significant role. “Hemanth’s main focus remains on Bhairavana Kone Paata, but as it will take time for me to be ready for that role, he has proposed that I make a special appearance in this new project. I have heard the storyline, and it is quite captivating,” stated Shivarajkumar.
The actor further explained that the decision to delay Bhairavana Kone Paata was made to ensure he can fully commit to the role. "I do not wish to rely on a body double or feign horse riding when I am unable to do so. Currently, the plan is to initiate Bhairavana Kone Paata a few months after Hemanth's new film," concluded Shivarajkumar.
The Century Star, who returned from the United States in late January, has been adopting a relaxed approach, following his doctor's recommendations, as he continues to acclimate to the neo-bladder constructed from segments of his intestine. He recently mentioned that he has resumed his morning walks without any difficulties, although he experiences some challenges when bending due to having undergone open abdominal surgery.
