Anjali was last seen in Vishwak Sen's Gangs of Godavari which ended as a massive flop at the box office. She played a very bold role in the film, and now, she is all set to do the same in her new web series, Bahishkarana, which was announced a few days ago.

Now, the makers have revealed the teaser, and it looks stunning. The series is set in the Guntur region and is based on the life of a courtesan who is traumatized by the people in her village, and she goes rogue. Anjali is seen in a very traditional attire, but the way she commits murders is showcased in a brutal manner.

Anjali, too, looks amazing in such a new avatar. She is generally known to play simple and girl-next-door roles, but she has gone to another level. Mukesh Prajapathi is the director of the series, and he has set the crime drama in a very daunting manner. Popular actors Ravindra Vijay and Sritej are seen in key roles in this series.

Yet another actress, Ananya Nagalla, also plays a key role in this series, which has a Guntur backdrop and has been showcased in a very gritty manner. By the looks of it, Bahishkarana is the story of a courtesan who goes against all odds to find redemption in life. She has nothing to lose and this has been showcased through Anjali's character in a superb manner.

Prashanti Malisetti has produced this series whereas Siddharth Sadasivuni is the music director. His background score for the series looks amazing in the promo. The makers have also announced that Bahishkarana will be out on Zee5 on July 19, 2024.
