Zebra, the Telugu action drama featuring Satyadev in the lead role, with Kannada star Dhananjaya also playing a crucial part, was released in theaters in November 2024. The film, helmed by Eashvar Karthic, which also includes Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sunil, Sathyaraj, Ramaraju, Satya, Surya, Prudhvi Raj, among several others, did not experience a successful theatrical run and arrived on OTT within a month.

The Telugu original version of Zebra premiered on Aha on December 20, and we are now informed that the Kannada and Tamil versions are scheduled for OTT streaming. The heist thriller, featuring music by Ravi Basrur, known for KGF and Salaar, will be accessible with Kannada and Tamil audio options on Lionsgate Play starting May 16, 2025.

Zebra was starring in Satyadev’s 26th film, which coincidentally was also Dhananjaya’s 26th, and the appeal of the character was one of the reasons the Kannada actor chose to participate in the film that was based on true events. The film, as reported, did not perform well at the box office, but the initial OTT rights agreement allowed them to recoup their investment, so this dubbing deal will serve as an extra benefit.

In the film, Satyadev portrayed Surya, a bank worker who is in a relationship with Swathi (Priya Bhavani Shankar), who is employed at a different bank. When Swathi makes a significant error by transferring a large sum of money to a customer, Surya assists her in avoiding trouble by engaging in a white-collar crime. This, however, does not clear their names but places them in the sights of the thug, Aadi (Dhananjaya), whom they need to pay ₹5 crore.

Satyadev, who has struggled at the box office lately, was most recently featured in Zebra, while Dhananjaya appeared in Pushpa 2: The Rule and made a guest appearance in his own production Vidyapati. The actor has several films scheduled for release, such as Uttarakaanda, Anna From Mexico, and Jingo.
