After the bumper success of Kill, Raghav Juyal featured in another action thriller, Yudhra. The film, directed by Ravi Udyawar, showcased an intense face-off between Raghav and his co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi. However, Yudhra, released on September 20, opened to an underwhelming response from critics and the masses alike. Amid this, Raghav has opened up about playing a dark character in the film.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Raghav Juyal revealed playing Shafiq's character in Yudhra affected him psychologically. However, the actor felt it was a unique experience for him to portray a dark and intense role in the Ravi Udyawar directorial.

The actor said, "I had to push my own boundaries. I engaged in behaviour that was far from my usual self. This process was intense and, at times, unsettling. After we wrapped up the shoot, I realised how much the role had impacted me on a psychological level. I felt an overwhelming need to disconnect and heal."

Juyal further mentioned that his family was concerned when they noticed a change in his behaviour. And this made Raghav realise how deeply he had immersed himself into the character for his movie. "This was the first time I attempted a role like this, even though I had done Kill. It was a challenging but rewarding experience," he added. That said, Raghav found semblance again after being surrounded by serenity in his hometown, Uttarakhand.
