You Are My Destiny plot and cast

Starring Jang Hyuk, Jang Na-ra, Choi Jin-hyuk, and Wang Ji-won in the lead roles, this romantic comedy revolves around an unconventional couple with polar opposite personalities as their fates get intertwined after a one-night stand.

The Korean series is based on the Taiwanese drama that featured the pair of Joe Chen and Ethan Ruan. Interestingly, You’re My Destiny reunited the lead pairs of Jang Hyuk and Jang Na-ra, who previously worked together in the 2002 drama, Successful Story of a Bright Girl.

Jang Hyuk plays the wealthy heir Lee Gun, while Jang Na-ra plays a timid office worker Kim Mi-young/Ellie Kim, who often finds herself stuck in unwanted situations due to her ability to not say “no.”

Park Won-sook, Choi Dae-chul, Choi Woo-shik, Na Young-hee, Song Ok-sook, and Park Hee-von also feature in prominent roles.
