At the Red Sea Film Festival 2024 in Jeddah, Ranbir shared his thoughts on playing Lord Ram in Ramayana. He mentioned, "I've wrapped up shooting for Part 1 and will begin Part 2 soon. Being part of this story is such an honor for me. It’s a dream come true. This film encompasses everything, showcasing the essence of Indian culture—family relationships and the dynamics between husbands and wives."
In other news, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1 is set to premiere in theaters on Diwali 2026, with the second part following on Diwali 2027.
