Yamakaathaghi, the newly launched Tamil supernatural horror drama that has received favorable reviews, is set to be available for streaming soon. Aha Tamil has acquired the post-theatrical OTT rights for the film. The premiere on Aha Tamil is scheduled for April 14.

Yamakaathaghi premiered in theaters on March 7. This Tamil film, directed by Peppin George Jayaseelan in his directorial debut, was filmed in a village in Thanjavur. The cinematography was executed by Sujith Sarang, while Sreejith Sarang took charge of the editing and color grading. The cast includes actors Roopa Koduvayur, Geetha Kailasam, and Narendra Prasath, among others. The musical score for Yamakaathagi was composed by Jecin George. The film is produced by Srinivasarao Jalakam and co-produced by Ganapathi Reddy.

Following its theatrical release, Yamakaathaghi has secured a digital platform with Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium. The streaming will commence on April 14, as announced by the platform on social media this past Thursday. This supernatural drama revolves around a young woman who unexpectedly passes away. While her family mourns and prepares for her funeral, her spirit and body remain in the home, leading others to believe she seeks vengeance for her untimely death. Yamakaathaghi received generally favorable reviews for its narrative, performances, and technical aspects.
