Yakshini is Disney+ Hotstar's latest web series that started streaming on June 14, 2024. The series had multiple stars playing key roles, and the special aspect is that the makers of Baahubali, Arka Media, produced the show on a massive scale.

But sadly, the response to the show has not been that great. All those who have watched the series are not happy with the way director Teja Marini has narrated the series in a very dull manner. 

Several comments are being made on social media, and the most common complaint from a section of the audience is how the makers of Baahubali even accepted such a series which does not have proper thrills and also fails in the emotional department.

Some big names like Vedhika, Manchu Lakshmi, and Ajay played key roles in this series, which is a fantasy drama made on a high budget. The makers also spent a bomb on the show and that is visible in the visuals. But all this did not stop the series from clicking. Also, as the series was not promoted well, many did not even know such a series was coming out in the first place.

On the other hand, there are a few who have liked the series. Yakshini was released alongside yet another series, Paruvu, on the same day, June 14, 2024. Paruvu has taken off on a dream start with more than 50 million streaming minutes to date and is still going strong.

Pawan Sadineni is the showrunner of this series, and the twists and turns this crime drama takes in the eight-episode series have attracted one and all. Yakshini, on the other hand, is losing its fort, and the views are also gradually decreasing as per the news. We need to see what kind of project Arka Media will come up with in the days to come.
