Will Baby John Outperform Pushpa 2 and Stree 2? Advance Ticket Sales Surge
4 hours ago | 5 Views
Trade analysts believe that Baby John has strong potential, and advance ticket sales for the eagerly awaited film featuring Varun Dhawan have commenced. Projections suggest that the action film could generate approximately Rs 16 crore on its opening day, with total earnings for the first weekend expected to surpass Rs 50 crore. The director, Kalees, and producer, Atlee, seem to be focused on maximizing box office revenue to attract a wide audience.
Cautious comparisons with other blockbusters
According to a report, industry analysts are exercising caution when making comparisons to other releases this year. Girish Wankhede conveyed to the publication that current data is not available due to a surge in bookings. The imminent release of Pushpa 2—The Rule has hindered the ability to initiate bookings sooner, which has adversely affected the film's box office performance. Neither Stree 2 nor Pushpa 2 can match its revenue. Nonetheless, the film benefits from Atlee's involvement, Varun's star appeal, and a remarkable soundtrack. Starting Monday, the film is expected to maintain its momentum.
Along with Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, Baby John is a remake of Theri, a 2016 Tamil film by Atlee.
