The Tamil film The Smile Man, starring esteemed actor Sarath Kumar in the principal role, premiered in cinemas on Friday. Aha Tamil has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film, which will be accessible for streaming following the conclusion of its theatrical engagement.

The Smile Man represents the 150th project for Sarath Kumar, who boasts decades of acting experience. This film, a crime thriller, is directed by the duo Syam and Praveen. Following its theatrical release, The Smile Man will be available for streaming on Aha Tamil, and it will later be accessible on OTTplay Premium.

In addition to Sarathkumar, the cast of the film includes Sri Kumar, Sijaa Rose, Ineya, George Maryan, Rajkumar, Kalaiyarasan, Kumar Natarajan, and Baby Azhiya. The Smile Man has received a U/A certification after undergoing censorship.

The narrative of The Smile Man revolves around a senior police officer who is confronted with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. With only a year remaining before his memories are entirely lost, he embarks on investigating a serial killer who grotesquely alters his victims' mouths to create a smile-like appearance. The film's technical team features music composed by Gavaskar Avinash, with the storyline crafted by Kamala Alchemist. The cinematography is executed by Vikram Mohan, while the editing is managed by San Lokesh.
