Aha is consistently launching new shows and gaining attention with its original OTT series, Vere Level Office. This program has sparked considerable discussion, as new episodes are released weekly on the platform. Recently, Aha has also revealed plans for a new original film entitled Katha Kamamishu. 

Katha Kamamishu locks its OTT partner

The announcement was made in conjunction with an elegant new poster, revealing that Katha Kamamishu will forgo its theatrical release and instead debut directly on Aha on January 2, 2025. The film, which is both written and directed by Gautham and Karthik, has been produced on a modest budget and features several prominent characters in pivotal roles.

Director Karuna Kumar, recognized for his work on Palasa and the recently launched Matka, will take on a lighthearted role alongside veteran actress Indraja. The cast also comprises Venkatesh Kakumani, Karthika Roy, and Krishna Prasad, all of whom play important parts.

Katha Kamamishu is being produced by Chinna Vasudeva Reddy under the banners of I Dream Media and Three Whistles Talkies. The music, created by Dhruvan, has garnered significant attention, particularly due to the distinctive background score featured in the teaser.

Initially, the producers encountered difficulties in securing a distributor, as they felt that the film's specialized theme would be more successful on OTT platforms. Consequently, they opted to sell the digital rights to Aha, which has been actively promoting the film over the last two days.
