After spotting his wife Hong Hee-joo with another man, named Sang-woo, Yoo Yeon-seok’s Sa-eon is curious to find out what exactly is going on. And he’s out to get some answers. In episode 3 of When The Phone Rings, Sa-eon approaches Chae Soo-bin’s Hee-joo and asks her about Heo Nam-joon’s Sang-woo. By the end of it though, Sa-eon consoles Hee-joo to forget all the bad things in her life like a nightmare that ended once she woke up. Here's everything you can expect on the show tonight…

Sa-eon challenges the kidnapper about Hee-joo

Sa-eon (Yoo Yeon-seok) tells his wife Hee-joo (Chae Soo-bin), who is currently pretending to be the blackmailer, that he has a plan and wishes to find something out. He challenges that the kidnapper would never even imagine what he wishes to find out.

Sa-eon suspects Hee-joo and Sang-woo have something more than friendship

Back in office, he comes to meet Hong Hee-joo, who he treats as an interpreter only. He catches her with Sang-woo (Heo Nam-joon). On doing so, his first question to Sang-woo was, does he like Hee-joo? Obviously, the wife wonders if her husband suspects she and Sang-woo like each other.

Sa-eon tells Hee-joo that she knows Sang-woo well, but questions how much does she know her own husband. Just as we think that she has everything under control, we're taken back to the time when the real kidnapper kidnapped Hee-joo. Or did he kidnap her again?

Sa-eon asks Hee-joo to forget everything like a nightmare

Nonetheless, we move on to the next scene, where Hee-joo is seen running with tears in her eyes. She wishes to find out if her father is alright. On reaching though, she faints. Sa-eon advises her to forget it all as a bad dream.
