Akshay Kumar's Welcome to the Jungle shoot has been going on for a while now. The comic caper, directed by Ahmed Khan, boasts an ensemble star cast including Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Shreyas Talpade among several others. The latest update on Welcome to the Jungle is about the film's action sequence, which was reportedly shot using 200 horses.

According to a News18 report, the makers of Welcome hired 200 horses along with horsemen for a long action sequence. "It will make for a never-seen-before action sequence. The safety of all these horses was thoroughly ensured while filming and the scenes were shot at a stretch for seven days," a source told the publication.

The source further mentioned the horses used for Welcome were from stables across Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar and Lonavala. The makers put together a huge set spread across 10 acres of land for the movie's shoot in Film City, Goregaon. 

That said, the star cast of Welcome to the Jungle completed this schedule of the film a couple of weeks back. However, they are expected to return to shoot more portions of Welcome 3 soon.

Sanjay Dutt opts out of Welcome to the Jungle?

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Sanjay Dutt quit Welcome to the Jungle. As per Bollywood Hungama, the actor cited date issues for his exit from the film. A source told the entertainment portal that Dutt conveyed all his issues to co-star Akshay Kumar before quitting the movie. For those who are unaware, Sanjay had already shot for a few scenes in Welcome 3.

It's being said that the makers have come up with an interesting idea to integrate Sanjay's scenes into the film. The storyline might show his character going missing after a few scenes. However, there's no confirmation on the same yet.
