Actor Kavin-starrer Bloody Beggar released in theatres on October 31 for Diwali. However not known if the success of Amaran overshadowed the film, Bloody Beggar did not pick up for the first couple of weeks which was further aided by certain negative reviews. However, now after a few weeks of release, it looks like the Kavin film has been accepted by audience with netizens praising the film and a positive word of mouth spreading.

Bloody Beggar is 2024 Tamil film starring Kavin in the lead role. The film hit theatres on October 31, and is helmed by Sivabalan in his directorial debut. Backed by Nelson Dilipkumar under his Filament Pictures banner, Bloody Beggar did not fare well during the first few days of release. The film also received negative reviews, and had a slow decline, given it was also overshadowed by Amaran’s success. It so happened that Nelson Dilipkumar had to compensate the losses for Tamil Nadu exhibitors.

Bloody Beggar is about a lazy beggar who lives with a hard-working boy who sells books in streets. However, during one philanthropic feast arranged, the beggar ventures into the palace and gets caught in between a scheme of things plotted by the rich family members. The black comedy film also stars Redin Kingsley, Radha Ravi, Maruthi Prakashraj, Sunil Sukhada, T M Karthik, Padam Venu Kumar, Arshad, Miss Saleema, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, Akshaya Hariharan, Anarkali Nazar, Dhivyaa Vikram, and others.

The technical crew consists of cinematography by Sujith Sarang and Jen Martin scoring the music. R. Nirmal is the editor. The art direction is handled by Manimozhian Ramadurai and Santhosh, and Metro Mahesh are stunt coordinator.
