Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is a blockbuster hit and continues to rake in solid earnings even after two weeks of its release. Now that the festive season and Republic Day weekend have ended, all eyes were on how the Venkatesh-starrer would perform at the box office on the crucial Monday, January 27, 2025.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has passed the Monday test with flying colors, earning ₹3.1 crore worldwide on its 14th day of release. With this, the film's total collections have crossed a ₹160 crore share. The Anil Ravipudi-directed film is expected to touch ₹300 crore this week, making it the biggest hit of Venkatesh's career.

Initially, not many expected Sankranthiki Vasthunnam to perform so well, especially since the other Sankranthi 2025 releases, Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj, received more attention. However, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has outperformed both films at the box office. 

According to trade experts, with no major releases scheduled until the second week of February, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is poised to continue its strong run and earn significant revenue over the next two weekends.

Much of the credit for the film's success goes to director Anil Ravipudi, whose clean and engaging narration drew family audiences to theaters in large numbers. Dil Raju, who incurred massive losses on Game Changer, is expected to recover a significant portion of those losses thanks to the profits from Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.

One of the biggest factors contributing to the film's success is its chart-topping songs. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music, and all the tracks have become a sensation among audiences.

Venkatesh is on cloud nine, as no previous film of his has ever crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. By the looks of it, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is on track to achieve a ₹200 crore share by the end of its run. Stay tuned for more updates!
