Wayfarer Studios has just dropped the official trailer for A Nice Indian Boy, a delightful romantic comedy directed by Roshan Sethi. The film features Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff, along with a fantastic supporting cast that includes Sunita Mani, Zarna Garg, Harish Patel, Peter S Kim, and Sas Goldberg. The story follows Naveen, a gentle doctor played by Karan Soni, who brings his white artist boyfriend, Jay (Jonathan Groff), home to meet his traditional Indian family.

As Naveen introduces Jay to his relatives, a whirlwind of misunderstandings and emotional moments arise, creating a bit of tension. The cultural differences lead to some awkward situations and challenge the family's views on love and marriage. Even with these hurdles, they try to organize the dream Indian wedding for Naveen and Jay, all while navigating the tricky waters of tradition, acceptance, and their changing perspectives on relationships.

The screenplay, penned by Eric Randall, is adapted from a play by Madhuri Shekar, and it beautifully captures a touching tale of love, identity, and family dynamics. The film humorously and authentically explores the clash between cultural expectations and personal desires.

A Nice Indian Boy is set to hit theaters on April 4th, 2025. With its mix of romance, comedy, and heartfelt moments, it looks like a must-see for anyone who enjoys feel-good films that delve into the complexities of family, love, and the quest for happiness.
