This Zee Theatre teleplay retells Rabindranath Tagore's classic story with stirring emotion

National Award winning director Nagesh Kukunoor brings alive Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's immortal story 'Daak Ghar' on the small screen. Set in early 20th century rural Bengal, the Zee Theatre teleplay tells the poignant story of a terminally ill child Amal (Krrish Chhabria) who is housebound and watches the world go by from his window.

The news of a new post office in the neighbourhood animates his imagination and he begins to dream of becoming a postman. His biggest wish is however to meet the king but time is running out for him. Will his dream come true before it is too late? Watch the teleplay to know more.
