The much-awaited sequel to director Sukumar’s Pushpa The Rise, Pushpa 2 The Rule is coming to theatres on December 5. The Allu Arjun led action drama is a Telugu original, that will release in Kannada, Malayalam Tamil, Hindi and Bengali as well. And now, we hear that the team is ensuring that audiences can watch Pushpa 2 in the language of their choice, irrespective of where they are. While, say a Kannada and Tamil version will, most definitely be available in Bengaluru, along with the Telugu original, Malayalam and Bengali may not.

How to watch Pushpa 2 in any language

But the makers say that should not be a problem. They have tied up with Cinedubs, a technology that will enable viewers to enjoy movies in the language of their choice. All that they need is to download the application, and then select the movie hall, show timing and language they want to see the film in. The big question, though, is, will it really work?

More than 2 years ago, Kiccha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona was supposed to make the most of this technology. However, when OTTplay checked if it actually works, during an early morning show of Vikrant Rona, it failed to recognize the multiplex, and, therefore, did not work. Moreover, given the audio levels in a cinema theatre, even with noise cancelling headphones, a smooth seamless watching experience with CInedubs, may not be possible.

Pushpa 2, meanwhile, is releasing in over 12,500 screens worldwide. The film, which is said to be one of the most expensive movies ever made in India, is now also one of the longest, with a run-time of 3 hours and 20 minutes, as per its censor report. Joining Allu Arjun on the cast are Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Dhananjaya, Tarak Ponnappa, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapati Babu, Rao Ramesh, Anusuya Bharadwaj, among others.
