Sankraanthiki Vasthunnam has emerged as a significant success at the box office and continues to be screened in select theatres. The film has achieved a remarkable gross of over Rs 300 crore, resulting in substantial profits for producer Dil Raju, who faced considerable losses with the concurrent release of Ram Charan's Game Changer.

Regarding the television premiere of Sankraanthiki Vasthunnam, it has been previously reported by OTTplay that Zee5 has acquired the digital rights for an impressive Rs 30 crore. In an unexpected development, it has been disclosed that the film will debut on television prior to its release on OTT platforms. This is an atypical approach, as films generally premiere on OTT services before being aired on television. However, due to Zee5 holding both the OTT and TV rights, they opted to alter the traditional sequence and prioritize the TV premiere.

As per the latest information, the television premiere of Sankraanthiki Vasthunnam is scheduled for March 1, 2025. This has been officially confirmed, and the announcement is now public knowledge. Following the television premiere, the film's OTT release is also confirmed to occur two weeks later, in the second week of March 2025.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam OTT release details

One significant feature of Sankraanthiki Vasthunnam is its continued screening in numerous theatres across the globe. Actor Venkatesh has made a remarkable return to the film industry with this project, which is helmed by Anil Ravipudi. Reports suggest that all stakeholders associated with the film have experienced profits exceeding 200%.

Currently, Venkatesh has not committed to any new film projects but is scheduled to appear in Rana Naidu 2 on Netflix. In the meantime, director Anil Ravipudi has secured the esteemed opportunity to direct Chiranjeevi in a comedy film, with production expected to commence in June.
