Vishwak Sen is on a roll with one project after another and doesn’t seem to be hitting the brakes anytime soon. His latest film, Laila, unfortunately flopped big time at the box office. However, we at OTTplay previously shared that Amazon Prime picked up the digital rights for a significant amount. Now, we've found out that Aha has also snagged the OTT rights and plans to stream Laila starting March 7, 2025.

Aha has reportedly shelled out a hefty sum to secure the streaming rights and plans to release the film about a month after it hits theaters. We previously mentioned that Laila would be available on OTT within three weeks of its theatrical debut, and that’s now been confirmed. However, Amazon Prime still hasn’t revealed when the film will be available for digital viewing.

Directed by Ram Shankar, Laila struggled at the box office, barely making Rs 2 crore during its run. Vishwak Sen took on a unique role by portraying a woman, but the comedy fell flat and was criticized for being cringe-worthy, leading to a poor reception from audiences. Kannada actress Akanksha Singh made her Telugu debut with Laila, but sadly, her first project turned out to be a big letdown.

Vishwak Sen has faced a lot of backlash after his film tanked. Before Laila hit the screens, he was making some pretty bold claims to hype it up, but when it bombed, people started digging up his past comments and roasting him online. With three box office flops in a row, he's really feeling the heat to bounce back.

Even with support from big names like Chiranjeevi, nothing could save Laila from its quick exit from theaters just three days after it premiered. Now, we’ll have to wait and see how it does on Aha when it starts streaming on March 7, 2025. Keep an eye out for more news on this one!
