On day six of its box office collection, Alappuzha Gymkhana, featuring Naslen, has been performing strongly since its release in theatres on April 10, 2025, coinciding with the Vishu festival. The film, which also stars Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi, Sandeep Pradeep, and Anagha Ravi, earned Rs 2.65 crore on its opening day in Malayalam collections. This sports comedy revolves around a group of young individuals aiming to gain college admission through boxing grace marks, and has received predominantly favourable reviews.

The favourable word-of-mouth has significantly contributed to the film's sustained success at the box office, with Khalid Rahman's direction yielding over Rs 3 crore in ticket sales over the last four days. As of day six, the Malayalam net collection for Alappuzha Gymkhana has reached Rs 3.07 crore. The total net collection in India stands at Rs 19.07 crore, while the overseas earnings amount to Rs 12.1 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film's total worldwide collection is Rs 30.5 crore.
Featuring a youthful cast, the film faced competition from Mammootty’s high-profile Bazooka and Basil Joseph’s Maranamass. However, Alappuzha Gymkhana has surpassed Bazooka to secure the top position. If the Naslen-led film continues to perform well, it is poised to become the leading contender at the Vishu box office in 2025.

Mammootty's thriller, Bazooka, directed by Deeno Dennis, has achieved global box office earnings of Rs 19.4 crore. In contrast, Maranamass, helmed by Sivaprasad and co-produced by Tovino Thomas, has garnered only Rs 10.58 crore over its first six days in theatres worldwide. Nevertheless, the producers assert that the film is performing admirably, with an increasing demand for Maranamass, which stars Anishma Anilkumar, Rajesh Madhavan, Babu Antony, and Suresh Krishna in prominent roles. Siju Sunny, who wrote the film and co-authored the screenplay, also plays a significant role in the production.
