Vishal, whose latest film Madha Gaja Raja is currently performing well in theatres, participated in the success celebration of the film that took place in Chennai on Friday, January 17. Celebrating the film's success, Vishal disclosed his upcoming projects and announced collaborations with directors Gautham Vasudev Menon and Ajay Gnanamuthu.

Vishal announces exciting line-up after Madha Gaja Raja

Vishal, who participated in the successful celebration of his latest film Madha Gaja Raja, conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the film's achievement. Directed by Sundar C, the film has garnered Rs 25 crore during its initial week in theatres.

During the success event, Vishal unveiled an intriguing slate of upcoming films. While he refrained from providing extensive details, he mentioned that he is set to collaborate with director Gautham Vasudev Menon on one project and another with Ajay Gnanamuthu. This will be his inaugural partnership with both directors.

In addition to these two projects, there is Thupparivaalan 2, which is anticipated to be directed by Vishal. The announcement for the sequel was made several years ago; however, it faced numerous challenges that prevented its progress. Vishal has not provided a timeline for the release of these projects, nor has he clarified the current status of the films.

Madha Gaja Raja earns Rs 25 crore at box office

Madha Gaja Raja premiered in theatres on January 12 and has garnered a box office collection of Rs 25 crore. Featuring Vishal, Anjali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, among others, the film was well-received by audiences and earned favourable reviews. Produced by Gemini Film Circuit, the music for the film was composed by Vijay Antony. Directed by Sundar C, Madha Gaja Raja was anticipated to be released in conjunction with Pongal 2013.
