Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh's film Berlin opened to positive feedback from audiences and critics. After being screened at various film festivals, the spy thriller had a direct-to-OTT release on ZEE5. The Atul Sabharwal directorial is also available for viewing on OTTplay Premium. Days after the film's release on streaming, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj shared his thoughts about Berlin.

ZEE5 shared Vishal Bhardwaj's review of Berlin on its Instagram handle. The streamer termed the filmmaker's review as an 'expert review' of the spy thriller. Sharing his thoughts about Aparshakti's movie, Bhardwaj mentioned, "A thrilling espionage experience. It is rare to find a slow burner film in this genre which keeps you hooked till its last frame."
While sharing this on IG, the streaming platform mentioned, "The Berlin case has struck a chord with the OG expert! Berlin streaming now, only on ZEE5! (sic)."

For those who are unaware, Aparshakti plays the role of a sign language expert Pushkin Verma in the OTT film. Speaking with OTTplay, the actor revealed the challenges he faced while portraying this character.
"The biggest challenge was to learn the sign language. It is not something that is there in the textbooks in school or something jo daily life mein iss cheez se vaakif ho sake. I also had to remember the sign language and the dialogues of what Ishwak was saying. So, these were the things that were difficult and different," he said. Apart from Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh, the movie features Anupriya Goenka and Kabir Bedi.
