Vikram Kochhar, the skilled actor gearing up for his role in the upcoming film Networker, recently shared insights about the movie, his role preparation, and his personal experiences. He also discussed the darker aspects of Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) schemes, which play a significant role in the film.

Networker dives into the realm of MLM companies, some of which have been tied to fraudulent activities. Brands like Tupperware, Amway, and Herbalife often come to mind when discussing MLM, and the film highlights how these schemes can take advantage of individuals. While there are legitimate MLM businesses, many entice people with unrealistic promises of easy money. Vikram's character in the film explores the intricate nature of these operations.

When talking about how he got ready for the role, Vikram mentioned, "I watched tons of videos and spoke with real people involved in network marketing. I gained a lot of insight into how these companies function and the scams they can sometimes be part of." He added, "Watching those videos really helped me grasp the dynamics of these companies and their impact on people."

The actor opened up about what initially pulled him into the film scene. "Honestly, it was the script and the storyline that caught my eye first. Many folks jump into movies for the cash, but the narrative and the emotional layers of the characters really resonated with me," Vikram explained. "You’ve got two kinds of people—those chasing money and those passionate about storytelling." He also reflected on his experience at the National School of Drama (NSD), a well-respected place for budding actors. "NSD is the go-to spot for anyone serious about learning. They offer government scholarships and provide a solid education in acting. It’s where real talent gets noticed, even if acting isn’t always seen as a prestigious career," Vikram mentioned.

"We still have to grind hard. I still take on smaller roles, but Gutargoo Films recognized my potential and cast me in Networker. Even Hirani sir saw something in me and gave me a shot in Dunki. There are still people out there who value true talent." Directed by Vikas Kumar Vishwakarma, Networker aims to deliver a fresh take on the MLM world and is sure to provide an engaging look at the realities behind these often-debated schemes.
