Viduthalai: Part 2 is a compelling period action drama that premiered in theaters in December. After its successful run on the big screen, the film is now available for viewing on Prime Video. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the narrative centers around a rookie police officer who plays a pivotal role in apprehending a leader of a grassroots movement and the ensuing developments.

In this installment, Soori portrays the police officer, while Vijay Sethupathi takes on the role of the leader. As the latter recounts his journey and transformation into his current self, the well-meaning officer grapples with the authority granted by his uniform and his compassion for individuals suffering from police brutality.

In addition to Vijay Sethupathi and Soori, the cast of the second part includes notable actors such as Manju Warrier, Rajiv Menon, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kishore, Ken Karunas, among others, in significant roles. The musical score is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, and the film is produced by RS Infortainment.
