Viduthalai Part 2 OTT version to have an extended runtime

In a recent discussion with a prominent online media outlet, director Vetrimaaran announced that the OTT version of Viduthalai Part 2 will feature an extended runtime exceeding one hour. Consequently, it can now be reasonably inferred that the film, starring Vijay Sethupathi and set to premiere on Zee5, will have a total runtime of three hours and 53 minutes. This latest information has generated considerable excitement among Tamil cinema audiences, who have been eagerly anticipating the film's release on OTT platforms.

Vetrimaaran has notably disclosed that the total runtime of both segments—Viduthalai Part 1 and Part 2—surpasses eight hours. The extended version of the critically acclaimed Viduthalai Part 1, presently available for streaming on Zee5 and OTT Play Premium, boasts a runtime exceeding four hours. Consequently, Vetrimaaran's films stand out as two of the longest ever created within the Indian film industry to date.
