Viduthalai Part 2 box office collection on its second day: Directed by Vetrimaaran, the film has outperformed both Viduthalai Part 1, featuring Vijay Sethupathi, and Maharaja in terms of its two-day earnings. According to Sacnilk.com, Viduthalai 2 has generated approximately ₹16 crore since its debut on Friday, December 20. The cast also includes Manju Warrier alongside Vijay Sethupathi.

According to the report, the film generated ₹7.5 crore on its opening day, with a breakdown of ₹7 crore from Tamil and ₹50 lakh from Telugu. Preliminary estimates indicate that on the second day, it earned ₹8 crore nett. To date, the film's total earnings stand at ₹15.50 crore. On Saturday, Viduthalai Part 2 recorded an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 40.05%.

The film has surpassed the earnings of Vijay's Maharaja, which made ₹12.6 crore, as well as Viduthalai Part 1, which earned ₹7.65 crore, within the first two days.
